Duties
- As aSupervisory Records and Information Management Specialist, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: Serve as head of the Records Division and as the Records Officer for ICE responsible for ensuring maintenance and security of records are handled appropriately and efficiently.
- Oversees the planning and direction of ICE's Records Management Program by collaborating with key stakeholders within ICE and other Federal Agencies.
- Formulates and oversees the implementation of Department/Agency policy and guidance for record-keeping in accordance with Department/Agency strategic plan; Congressional mandates for all electronic and non-electronic records; National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) regulations, standards and guidance; and appropriate national and international professional records/information management standards.
- Identifies, analyzes and draws logical conclusions regarding extremely complex, unique and specialized agency schedules, file plans, electronic records management and mission requirements.
- Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities; and prepares schedules for completion of work.
