Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist (aero)

Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AERO) in the QUALITY VERIFICATION DIVISION (SPB22), TECHINCAL DEPARTMENT (SPB20) of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
Duties
- You will provide product acceptance, product data, process data and quality improvement data for Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) missiles, materials, and equipment processed, handled, or stored at SWFPAC.
- You will supervise quality assurance personnel who investigate, analyze, develop, plan, coordinate, and monitor all phases of engineering/technical work for assigned program projects and steady state operations.
- You will monitor work progress to identify adherence to schedule issues, adherence to technical requirements, and compliance with policy.
- You will develop and champion innovative ideas to improve the organization and create an environment that fosters innovation.
- You will direct and coordinate the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of surveillance/inspection plans used to gain assurance that the contractor and government is complying with contractual quality requirements.
- You will participate as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB), accepting or rejection dispositions for non-conforming material.
- You will perform hardware government (product assurance/acceptance (DD250) of weapon systems components, fleet spares, and associated equipment, including support equipment.
