About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii, Directorate of Emergency Services. Hawaii is a beautiful state, but has a high cost of living. Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year round including surfing, paddling, diving, fishing, and hiking.
Duties
- You will advise the Director of Emergency Services on all physical security matters.
- You will coordinate with other installation elements and other agencies in the preparation of emergency plans (i.e., bomb threats, disaster plans, etc.).
- You will prepare, maintain and update the arms, ammunition and explosives and physical security plans as they relate to the IMCOM and various tenant missions.
- You will conduct routine physical and internal security inspections unannounced, detecting deficiencies and violations of directives
- You will prepare reports and make recommendations for remedial actions when warranted to appropriate supervisors/chiefs
- You will monitor the key control system, badge system to insure adequacy and regulatory compliance.
- You will evaluate work performance of subordinates, and gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
