Duties

  • You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and be responsible for overseeing the development, production, testing and delivery of assets and systems that address U.S.
  • Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements in aviation, C51 (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence), and logistics.

  • Managing Integrated Logistics.
  • Support (ILS) contract execution by overseeing tasks, evaluating deliverables, and reporting on contractor performance. Managing the development of Integrated Logistics Support.

  • Support (ILS) elements and processes involved in logistics support, where.
  • ILS elements include: maintenance planning, supply chain development support, manpower and personnel, training and training support, support and test equipment, packaging, handling, storage and transportation, facilities, computer resources support, technical data, design interface, human systems interface, configuration management.
  • Planning for resource requirements (e.g., manpower, budgets, technical data, and equipment) to support asset systems throughout the lifecycle.
  • Managing USCG Aviation.
  • Materiel for acquisitions programs, including the research, contract negotiation, procurement, warehousing, inventory management and requisition processes for acquisition related components and inventory, where activities are directly coupled to the Systems.
  • Engineering activities related to supply chain development.
  • Providing oversight to civilian, military and contract workforce.
  • Coordinating integration of asset supply chain development into sustainment product line, while ensuring adequate and sufficient sparing to conduct efficient transitions of operational units.
  • Leading oversight for operational unit transitions, including the management of all 12 elements of logistics including the pre-deployment of special tooling, ground support equipment, Aviation.
  • Life support equipment, and spare parts inventory including all material types for initial provisioning.
