Duties
- As the Supervisory Legal Assistant (Office Automation) in the Criminal Division, you will be responsible for directly and independently supporting Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSA) by providing a wide variety of technical assistance services.
- You will also be responsible for supervising the legal assistants and ensuring that the work assignments of the Criminal Division are accomplished.
- This position will be filled in either the Fresno or Bakersfield branch offices.
- Duties include (but are not limited to): Provides a variety of direct legal support assistance services to serviced AUSA staff.
- Examines, prepares and processes a variety of technical legal documents which are characteristically voluminous and complex in format.
- Supervises the Legal Assistants in the unit.
- Distributes work, monitors status of work in progress and ensures uniform high quality of work product.
- Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
