Duties
- What You'Ll Be Doing Day to Day as a Supervisory Contract Specialist (Center Director), you will be responsible for executing complex, high-volume acquisitions and advising customers to deliver mission-focused, enterprise outcomes use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Provide executive leadership and direction over a Strategic Buying Center, overseeing acquisition execution across multiple divisions and teams.
- Manage Center resources, including workforce, funding, space, and systems, to support effective acquisition operations and mission delivery.
- Oversee execution of complex acquisitions and ensures delivery of acquisition outcomes across the Center's portfolio.
- Lead development and execution of strategic sourcing and category management solutions aligned with enterprise and HHS priorities.
- Develop and implements customer engagement strategies, ensuring effective partnership and delivery of acquisition solutions across HHS and Office of the Secretary stakeholders.
- Lead industry engagement strategies for assigned procurements, fostering collaboration and market awareness to support acquisition outcomes.
- Operationalize organizational strategy into Center-level execution plans, aligning resources, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Oversee use of acquisition systems (e.g., HCAS, PRISM, or equivalent) to manage operations, ensure data integrity, and support reporting.
