Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, Frame Shop, located at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits.

Duties

  • Operates the cash register, collects money, makes change and issues receipts.
  • Closes out the cash register, completes required paperwork and submits entire package to supervisor.
  • Uses small equipment within the Frame shop, to include but not limited to the engraving machine and matt cutter.
  • Prepares verbal and written estimates for customers, notifies customer when orders are complete.
  • Calls in requests for framing supplies.
  • Processes returns and credits with suppliers.
  • Provides customer service, answers telephones.
  • Places special orders. Stocks merchandise received.
  • Set up, clean up and assistance with classes and workshops.
  • Performs weekly, monthly, preventative maintenance on shop equipment.

Education
