This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a situational telework position, not full-time telework. The Walla Walla District US Army Corps of Engineers is comprised of the very best engineering services for communities in the Pacific Northwest.

Duties

  • Systemic Data Synthesis: Leverages Power BI and similar enterprise web-based platforms to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, custom reports, and key performance metric visualizations.
  • Capacity and Lifecycle Monitoring: Actively tracks and monitors contract capacity for Single Award Task Order Contracts (SATOCs) and Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs) and coordinates the strategic tracking of contract option years.
  • Workflow Integration: Analyzes and documents procurement system workflows, identifying bottlenecks and developing procedures to ensure rigorous data integrity within automated systems.
  • Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Serves as a technical super-user to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system errors, and provides user-support for automated database platforms.
  • Closeout Management: Directly tracks, coordinates, and processes contract closeout procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Training and Policy Dissemination: Develops training curricula and instructs acquisition personnel on system operations while interpreting relevant regulations and policies for action officers.
  • Knowledge Management: Directs and maintains content for organizational SharePoint portals and web pages to support internal information sharing.
