Duties

  • The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton OH is searching for a Principal Intelligence Analyst to support NSIC (GG-0801-14).
  • Modelling & Simulation flight is seeking a
  • Analyst (PIA) to lead space/counterspace
  • Program (TMAP), Advanced
  • Simulation, Integration, and
  • Modeling (AFSIM) or model-based systems engineering (MBSE) model development and simulation environment integration.
  • The selectee will team with the flight's existing PIAs to manage production, engage with customers, review models, and mentor and develop the flight's analysts.
  • The team this PIA position will lead will be determined by the candidate's experience.
  • Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position has knowledge of emerging threat systems, capabilities, and technologies; software development and modeling & simulation (M&S); all-source scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) analysis; technical project management, and associated production processes/policies to perform the engineering design, analysis and M&S of

  • The ideal candidate has experience managing/executing budgets and managing contractor support.
  • Additionally, the candidate possesses the ability to collaborate and effectively work within a group setting, maintain effective working relationships with a variety of technical representatives, peers, and government contractors; and skill in presenting technical findings and evaluations clearly,
  • Logically and concisely in a variety of verbal, written and graphical formats.
  • Key Skills and Abilities: 1.
  • Professional knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering (such as electronic, electrical, computer, aerospace, or mechanical disciplines, mathematics, computer science, or closely related fields) concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures to effectively apply engineering theories, principles, and concepts to new threat analysis applications and software developments. 2.
