Summary

About the Position : This position is located at Barquist Army Health Clinic, Ft. Detrick. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

Implement health education on an individual or group basis through counseling or group dynamics.
Assist with management of an occupational health program and its effectiveness.
Provide orientation/training to clinic personnel and program beneficiaries.
Assess health care needs and ensures the provision of care for occupational injuries/illnesses.
Participate in planning, coordination and implementation of comprehensive occupational health programs.
Establish a viable occupational health continuous Quality Improvement/Peer Review Programs.
Administer medicines/treatments authorized by physician/physician assistant.
