Duties

  • Officer (Instructor), GS-1801, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to: Serves as part of a program management team for training programs, supervises students, other instructors, and coordinates all logistics for a
  • Including but not limited to: Instructing, providing academic and non-academic counseling, and assists IPA and OJS Advanced Training Center instructors in the delivery of training.
  • Identifying training program needs, development and revision of training materials, and inspections, general and specialized techniques in law enforcement.
  • Supervising students, instructors, class scheduling, class evaluation, and all areas of logistics involved in conducting a Law Enforcement Training Program.
  • Leading law enforcement staff; overall law enforcement program development, management, and work planning for the assigned duty location.
  • Serves on several curriculum review committees, which will involve making oral and written presentations in a clear and concise manner.
