IT Specialist (Systems Analysis)

Summary

This vacancy is for an IT Specialist (Systems Analysis), GG-2210-14, position in the Decennial Information Technology Division located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line – Suitland Station. This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other IT Specialist (Systems Analysis) positions within the Census Bureau in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

Duties

• Serves as a senior technical authority in analyzing complex business needs and translating them into integrated IT system requirements, specifications, and solutions.
• Provides expert-level leadership for IT projects, task forces, and study teams involving advanced systems analysis and engineering efforts.
• Ensures successful integration, deployment, and sustainment of hardware, software, and enterprise systems across operational environments.
• Evaluates IT solutions and provides strategic recommendations to support investment decisions, modernization efforts, and enterprise architecture alignment.

Education

Education may not be substituted for specialized experience at this (GG-14) grade 14 level. Applicants must meet the specialized experience requirements described in this announcement.
