Summary

This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Naval Support Facility, Thurmont, Maryland. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.

Duties

  • As Director, SMC PMO, provides technical guidance to staff performing PMO functions, including analyzing broad communications requirements and developing technical guidance to facilitate projects and programs supporting SMC.
  • Responsible for Information Technology/Telecommunications projects, programs, task coordination and senior Subject Matter Expert of Information Technology (Customer Support).
  • Will be the primary coordinator for all Special Missions Command Information Technology projects related to systems internal and external to the Command.
  • Advises the Special Missions Command Commander on all projects impacting both internal and external agencies.
  • Provide all senior level customer support assistance as required by the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) Project Management Office and commercial vendors to design, develop, and implement Information Technology/Telecommunications systems.

Education

There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-13 grade level.
