Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Project Manager for assigned engineering projects the life of the project from issuance of design authority to throughout construction completion. Projects involve new construction and additions and renovations of multistory office buildings, and other facilities.

Duties

  • Review the project documentation, e.g.
  • Project Development Brochure, and feasibility studies to gain a clear understanding of the project scope and funding limitations.
  • Provide input to the Master Planner in the scope development and preparation of project documentation when such technical expertise is required.
  • Coordinate review of concept submittals and consolidates comments to assure that comments do not conflict with the authorized scope.
  • Coordinate review of documents submitted during the development of the contract documents and reviews and consolidates comments to assure consistency with the project scope.
  • Coordinate with staff elements to be affected by the project to assure that special requirements for working conditions and scheduling are incorporated into the final construction documents.
  • Act as Point of contact for all questions or problems encountered.
  • Serve as Project Manager for new construction and renovation/alteration projects.
