Summary

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (OA) in the CENTER FOR EMPLOYEE RECORDS AND APPLICANT INQUIRES DIVISION of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS. Duties

  • You will provide answers to inquiries concerning merit promotion and job application procedures such as ratings, educational requirements, etc.
  • You will send applicant inquiries to hiring regions if inquiry justifies escalation and respond to inquiries regarding status of actions.
  • You will serve as a primary focal point for resolution of handling applicant issues/complaints, researching/troubleshooting the origin of the problems, identifying systemic issues, and ensuring appropriate and timely corrective action.
  • You will perform special projects as required (e.g. metrics and Active Reasonable Accommodation List (ARAL).
  • You will produce a documents in draft and/or final format by ensuring documents are prepared and reviewed for spelling, grammar, capitalization, punctuation, presence of necessary enclosures, and proper Navy formatting procedures.

Education

GS-5 only: In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 4 years above high school A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
