Duties

  • You will serve as a Housing Management Assistant and be responsible for a variety of assignments related to contracting, occupancy, maintaining and termination activities of government owned or leased family and single housing at the assigned locality.
  • Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
  • Typical work assignments include: Receives and processes applicants for permanent and temporary quarters.
  • Determines family and housing eligibility and requirements of applicants.
  • Conducts or coordinates joint tenant and management inspections of family and quarters to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance and habitability of the unit, furnishing, equipment, and facilities.
  • Resolving a variety of housing problems by assembling facts and evaluating information on a multitude of issues.
  • Submitting work order requests as necessary and coordinates for repairs and improvements.
