Duties
- What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as the Emergency Management Specialist for the National Preparedness Directorate. Typical assignments include:
- Support training and education programs to improve preparedness at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Preparing clear written materials and conduct data-driven analysis for reports and documentation.
- Leading project management for multi-phase planning initiatives, including task tracking and performance visualization.
- Coordinating and facilitating stakeholder meetings and events, negotiating effective outcomes.

- Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
