Summary
You will serve as a COMMERCIAL PURCHASING SPECIALIST in the COMPLIANCE BRANCH (CODE 510.1) of the COMPLIANCE AND STRATEGIC ANLAYSIS DIVISION of the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
- You will draft and issue letters of warning.
- You will monitor purchase card procurement activity throughout each billing cycle.
- You will schedule and coordinate training material for cardholders and approving officials.
- You will serve as a point of contact for the shipyard to resolve vendor disputes.
- You will customize management reports derived from the bank's data base files.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-09 master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related GS-11 Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be used to meet the total qualification requirements.
