Duties
- Perform chiropractic adjustment to restore joint and related soft tissue function.
- Diagnose chiropractic conditions by questioning, observing and examining patients as well as reviewing patient’s drug therapies, health and medical histories.
- Order diagnostic clinical laboratory studies to include but not limited to electrolyte profile, CBC, ESR, urinalysis, urine culture/sensitivity and stool for occult blood.
- Counsel patients on nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, stress management, and other matters related to chiropractic care.
- Write prescriptions for orthotic devices, materials and appliances that are made available.
Education
