Summary
The purpose of this position to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the Marketing Directorate at a major command (MAJCOM) as the Chief, Marketing Director with responsibility for directing all marketing activities under the Total Force (TF) Recruiting Charter for United States Air Force (USAF) components.
Duties
- Plan, organize and oversee the activities of all marketing and advertising efforts across the Air Force and Space Force enterprise.
- Formulate marketing plans, policies, procedures and work plans dealing with the development and operation of command-wide recruiting marketing functions, investments and activities.
- Select candidates for supervisory positions as well as subordinate non-supervisory positions and recommend selections for subordinate supervisory positions taking into consideration skills and qualifications and mission requirements.
- Represent Air Force Marketing to a variety of functional area organizations to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, DoD Agencies, Secretary of the Air Force (SAF), Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, Joint Military Recruiting Commands, Air Force Personnel Center, Major Commands, installations, wing/host units and field organizations and their customers.
- Provide marketing expertise, authority and acquisition management support and oversight of all aspects of United States Air Force (USAF) and United States Space Force (USSF) marketing programs.
