Duties

  • Analyze headquarters program and budgetary guidance.
  • Identify requirements short-falls and trade-offs and prepare appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Allocate funds to individual activities/functional areas based on an analysis of activity budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload, and approved funding.
  • Provide local budget policy and procedures, budget formulation assumptions, and format and schedule service organizations for budget submissions.
  • Receive approved fund targets for assigned accounts.
  • Review, analyze, edit, and consolidate budget submissions.
  • Formulate and justify a segment of the command budget, and a major segment of the organization budget or a total budget for one or more funds.
