About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. This position is a Flexible position not exceed September 30, 2023. Hours for this position will be determined by the facility manager and can range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must possess lifeguard certification, first-aid and CPR training certification.
Duties
- Continuously observe the pool to ensure safety. 2.
- Ensures only authorized patrons are admitted to the area. 3.
- Rescues swimmers in trouble, promptly administers first-aid, and calls for medical assistance when needed. 4.
- Warns patrons of unsafe conditions. 5.
