Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

- The GS-12 Senior Social Worker performs duties independently and is responsible for the monitoring and coordination of services provided by community-based programs funded under The Homeless Program Office Grant and Per Diem (GPD) Program.
- Major duties include, but are not limited to: The
- Liaison provides services and oversight of the
- Diem funded programs as defined in the grant and
- Diem rules, regulations, and directives including verification of veteran status and eligibility for participation in the
- Discharge dates of participation for billing purposes.
- Provides information and analytical systems to evaluate and enhance the quality of services provided to patients in the Grant and Per Diem housing program.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates clinical guidelines and protocols to establish appropriate utilization of services.
- Complies with criminal conflict of interest laws and Executive Branch Standards to conduct to avoid conflicts of interest.
- Member of the NCHCS Homeless Team and provide other services, such as outreach when necessary.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Subject to change to meet the needs of the Agency Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not Authorized Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)

- Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.
- Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
- Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience.
- Parental Leave: After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.
- Subsidy: After 60 days of employment, full time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum of $416.66.
