Registered Nurse – Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program (Ptrp)

Summary

South Texas Veterans Health Care System is seeking an RN for Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program at the Audie L. Murphy Division in San Antonio, TX who will be responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care based on age-specific components, coordinating care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care and administering medications and procedures.

Duties

• As a Polytrauma Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN), you will execute position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex patient care. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Collaborate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.

Requirements

Education

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) must be fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission On Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
