THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1634000 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. INDEFINITE WITH ROLLOVER Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.
Duties
- As an, AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-8602-10, you will plan weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operations.
- Assign tasks to be performed.
- Explain work requirements, methods, and procedures.
- Recommend and participate in the selection of personnel to fill vacancies.
- Schedule and approve leave of subordinates.
- Perform the non-supervisory work of the Propulsion Element.
- Implement safety regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
