Serve as an independent Nurse Practitioner providing advanced clinical care while leading programs focused on sexually transmitted infections (STIs), maternal and child health, and population health with Chinle Service Unit in Chinle, AZ. - Provides comprehensive advanced practice nursing care for patients with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and reproductive health needs through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Coordinates referrals and continuity of care across multidisciplinary providers while educating patients and families on disease prevention, sexual health, maternal-child health, breastfeeding, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates public health programs by establishing program goals, performance measures, surveillance systems, and data reporting processes aligned with organizational priorities.
- Collaborates with tribal, community, academic, and governmental partners to improve population health outcomes, supports grant development and program sustainability, prepares technical reports and presentations, and represents the organization at regional and national meetings.
- Provides clinical leadership during infectious disease outbreaks and public health emergencies by participating in emergency planning, policy development, response implementation, and program evaluation.
- Travels throughout the service area to deliver community-based services and ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards, privacy regulations, and professional licensure requirements.
