Duties

  • Responsible for managing and supervising the delivery of the Introduction to Correctional Techniques program, at the Staff Training Academy, Glynco, Georgia.
  • Coordinates orientation training for new personnel assigned to the Staff Training Academy as instructors.
  • Instructs academic classes in the Introduction to Correctional Techniques program.
  • Ensures “quality control” in programs delivered at the Staff Training Academy by observing and evaluating on-going instruction, and counseling Academy staff and students regarding instructional strengths and weaknesses.
  • Instructs Bureau of Prisons (BOP) employees and other involved in BOP supported training activity, in a wide variety of correctional techniques and procedures.
