Duties

  • Provide professional services requiring the full range of inpatient and outpatient Orthopedic Surgery services consistent with the hospital’s capabilities.
  • Provide medical services and diagnostic procedures that are clear, concise, and in keeping with modern medical terminology.
  • Facilitate patient access to medical care by recommending appropriate referrals to other health care providers IAW applicable policies and regulations.
  • Actively participate in conducting peer review of other health care providers’ medical records in compliance with the Quality Improvement/Assurance Program.
  • Responsible for all administrative activities normally associated with patient care in a hospital setting.
