This position is located at Treasury Office of the Inspector General, Office of Management. As an Assistant Inspector General for Management, you will be responsible for establishing Office of Management (OM) policy, and for managing and coordinating all OM programs and operations.

Duties

  • As an Assistant Inspector General for
  • Management, you will: Direct the work of an organizational unit and manage all of the Office of the Inspector General's (OIG) general, technical, and administrative support activities, in accordance with laws and regulations and the policies and priorities of the Inspector General.
  • Monitor progress toward organizational goals and periodically evaluate and make appropriate adjustments to such goals.
  • Oversee and supervise the work of the budget staff in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the OIG budget.
  • Oversee the planning, preparation, and finalization of the overall OIG strategic plan, ensuring that input from other OIG offices is coordinated and integrated into the final document.
  • Develop policy and oversee planning for future facility needs and manage ongoing facilities maintenance and upgrading.
  • Ensure maintenance of high standards of customer service in all program areas.

Requirements

  • Complete a 1-year SES probationary period, unless already completed.
  • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment (https://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_?ll/of0306.pdf) to determine your suitability for Federal employment at the time requested.
  • Complete an Executive Branch Personnel Public Financial Disclosure Report annually.
  • Undergo appropriate tax checks.
