Summary

Duties

  • At the full performance level (GS-15) the major duties of this Program Manager position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Oversee and guide programs and managers to successfully achieve the organization/division mission and goals.
  • Plan and facilitate strategic change that are aimed at achieving and improving the quality, effectiveness, accountability and timeliness of program's accomplishments.
  • Apply technical knowledge, analyze challenges and evaluate alternatives and identify a course of action to address specific agency/program challenges.
  • Strategically manage and guide planning and project management, human resources, financial and information resources.
  • Advise management and executive leadership in the development of program policies, proposals, processes and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
  • Meet Selective Service Registration Act requirement for males.
  • Selectee will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program.
  • You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 7 nights per month.
  • You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.
  • You may be required to complete training and obtain/maintain a government charge card with travel and/or purchase authority.
  • This is a supervisory position that may require completion of a supervisory probationary period.
