Summary

This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Information Systems Division (TC), Business Program Management Section (TGB), Arlington, VA. This position(s) primary purpose is working on matters related to IT Governance, business and investment management, IT portfolio management, and associated tasks in planning, policy, managerial and cost accounting, cost, and program evaluation.

Duties

  • As a Program Analyst, your typical work assignments may include: Analyzes and validates complex cost data, assesses resource requirements, and ensures proper audit trail of funds usage.
  • Performs program data analysis to assess the overall financial status of programs, including the obligation and expenditure of funds, in combination with IT program progress, performance, and potential concerns or issues.
  • Writes IT Governance guidelines, frameworks, playbooks, and associated templates/documents intended to be interpreted and applied broadly, proving guidance on planning, programming, and IT Investment Management (ITIM).
  • Collaborates with peers and project managers to report to senior managers on the status of fiscal resources and future requirements. Possess advanced user-level expertise in tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Project, MS PowerBI, and others.
  • Writes or updates policies, guidelines, and standards for the planning, development, integration, implementation, and evaluation of information technology systems and subsystems.
  • Assists the unit chief in determining resource requirements and recommend resource allocations based on priorities and needs, utilizing tools such as Project Schedule, Excel, and others.
