Duties
- WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Emergency
- Management Specialist, you will: Serve as Emergency Response Coordinator for interdisciplinary teams and multi-agency networks, leading logistical planning and operational coordination efforts in support of emergency response activities.
- Direct the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of emergency response protocols, operational procedures, and guidance materials necessary to coordinate activities associated with bioterrorism incidents, technological and environmental hazards, infectious disease outbreaks, and natural disasters.
- Provide supervisory and organizational leadership to a team of emergency management professionals and exercise functional oversight of contract support personnel to ensure successful execution of programmatic and operational objectives.
