About the Position: Serves as Supervisory Medical Support Assistant (Office Automation) over a group of employees performing medical clerk, receptionist, record keeping, files management, office automation, and miscellaneous clerical duties in a large Womack Army Medical Center medical clinic. The clinic provides services in a variety of medical specialties. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Duties
- Organize and schedule the clerical work in accordance with established priorities, policies and procedures.
- Assign work, daily, weekly or monthly to employees, providing special instructions as necessary for new or unusual assignments.
- Assure that quality, quantity, and accuracy requirements are met.
- Provide on-the-job training to newly assigned clerks.
- Recommend training and developmental needs of employees.
- Brief Unit Commanders, soldiers, family members and groups on clinic policies, procedures, and issues.
- Assisting with customer concerns.
