About the Position: Under the direct supervision of the organization’s Administrative Officer (AO), serves as a Supervisory Management and Program Assistant, responsible for providing administrative, procedural, and other office support to the Administrative Office and its clerical programs. Assists with administrative programs and policies and is responsible for a variety of actions which require fact-finding, coordination, recommendations, implementation, and follow-up.
Duties
- Supervise up to six General Schedule (GS) employees.
- Assist and advise clerical staff on procedural and administrative processes for the Project Office.
- Analyze and identify personnel requirements, resources, and services needed.
- Serve as central point of contact for addressing general pay and leave questions, benefits questions, in-processing new employees, and out-processing of transferring, separating, and retiring employees.
- Manages the Project Office’s training coordinator, developing and coordinating the local Mandatory Training Plan.
- Assist in resolution of attendance/leave, environmental/hazard pay and supervisory differential eligibility issues.
- Oversee all correspondence policies and procedures and is the single focal point for administrative actions within the organization.
