Duties
- Duties include, but are not limited to: Interacts regularly with the Kansas City VA Medical Center to coordinate and plan Clinical Process Improvement.
- Works with the Systems Redesign Chief to identify vulnerabilities and develop processes and programs that advance patient care across the organization.
- Collaborates with staff, other disciplines, faculty, students, and peers in developing, conducting, and evaluating evidence-based practice activities and programs.
- Works with Clinical Teams to develop and implement strategies for improved patient safety and patient care.
- Assists the Medical Center in implementing priority sections of the CPI Toolkit.
- Collects data, monitors staff compliance with relevant policies, directives, and standards, provides reports detailing trends, and provides direct staff support to all services in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, modifying, and administering, a comprehensive quality management program area.
- Participates in several facility councils, committees, and workgroups.

Requirements
- Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
