Summary
Position is located within the Storage Section, Central Distributions Center, Defense Commissary Agency, Europe. Located within a distribution warehouse, the position is responsible for a variety of work involved in the receiving, warehousing and shipping of perishable and semi-perishable goods.
Duties
Perform the full range of technical duties supporting the receiving, storing, selecting and shipping of stocked merchandise, with full independence.
Responsible for a bay, area, portion of warehouse or certain critical line items.
Continually monitor receiving process, identify discrepancies (under/over shipment), any damages.
Operate all types of materials handling equipment for which licensed among these are electric, gasoline, or diesel-powered forklifts, pallet jacks.
Complete all required documentation for each aspect of work and maintains accurate records.
Conduct full or partial inventories as required and analyzes reports or findings to identify discrepancies.
Provide guidance to lower graded employees on correct procedures, methods and techniques.
