Summary

You will serve as the Director, C5ISR (N6) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) located upon the headquarters staff for Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), Norfolk, VA.

Duties

You will establish strategic direction and business strategies for operational, tactical, and non-tactical systems within Fleet Forces Command and ensure Fleet systems and decisions support the development of DON and DoW objectives.
You will validate enterprise Cyber, C5ISR, Information Management (IM), Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA) requirements across the Fleet and establish key business processes.
You will prioritize OMN/OPN expenditures for Cyber, C5ISR, IM, IT, and IA systems for assigned Fleet units and activities.
You will deliver Cyber and Command and Control (C2) capability to support the Operational Level of War (OLW) requirements of the Navy Component Commander Maritime Operation Center (MOC) supporting both NAVNORTH and STRATCOM.
You will establish configuration control for Fleet afloat and shore subordinates in conjunction with U.S. Pacific Fleet, Fleet Cyber Command and Navy Information Warfare Forces to include future direction of warfare requirements development.
You will serve as the USFF Command Information Officer (CIO) for Fleet Forces C5ISR systems, cybersecurity, hardware, and software and execute CIO responsibilities under the provisions of OSD regulation .
You will oversee policy, regulations, operations, maintenance, and decision-making necessary to maintain Fleet operations and appropriate information assurance and security.
You will collaborate with U.S. Pacific Fleet, Fleet Cyber Command, Navy Information Warfare Forces and Systems Commands/PEOs offices.
You will ensure research, development, testing, and operational fielding of combat and communication systems are integrated with the Optimized Fleet Response Plan and Global Maritime Response Plan of operational units.
