Summary
About the Position: Location- Naval Hospital Beaufort Audiology Hearing Conservation Hours of work- 7-3:30pm This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care.
- Responsible for accuracy of patient evaluations and recommendations.
- Counsel patients and family members regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
- Provide independent quality audiological services for all categories of patients eligible to receive authorized health care.
- Ensure that hearing conservation testing is conducted and recorded in accordance with regulations.
- Plans, conducts and coordinates aural rehab, tinnitus and or vestibular rehab programs for patients.
Education
