  • Typical duties include: Serve as a team leader for planning and oversight of a team, task force, or work group under the direction of one of the branch supervisors.
  • Provide authoritative senior technical leadership, specialized financial systems knowledge and central focus, on a CBP-wide basis, to enhance SAP program management, financial and process controls, and the functionality for the assigned process or function.
  • Serves as the senior financial system process/functional expert and the Office of Finance principal point of contact on all matters relating to the design, management, operation and improvement of a primary functional component of the SAP ERP system or other financial or mixed-financial systems.
  • Develops SAP or other financial or mixed financial systems for assigned process/functional area(s), so that the system(s) meet all accounting process and internal controls where applicable, ensuring CBP's continued clean audit opinion.
  • Plans, directs and controls periodic upgrades/functionality enhancements to address expanded and evolving requirements.
