Summary
About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center within the Cardiology Department in San Diego, California. Duties
- Maintain patency of artificial airways including suctioning.
- Establish invasive intravenous lines and safely administers medications that promote sedation of the patients.
- Monitor post-procedure recovery of patients and determine readiness to be transferred to the ward or Intensive Care Units.
- Assess needs of cardiology patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiac catheterization procedures.
