Summary

About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Physician Assistant (ER), located at the A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir, VA. Duties

  • Provides management of drug overdoses, clinical assessment and understanding of forensic implications of physical assault, rape, suicide, abuse, and neglect.
  • Provides action and treatment that directly affects the course of subsequent health care provisions for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Orders laboratory tests, radiology/imaging tests and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.
  • Provides comprehensive medical care to patients, presenting with full range of (acute, complex, complicated, difficult, rare, and/or combination) medical, surgical and psychiatric illnesses
  • Provides action and treatment that directly affects the course of subsequent health care provisions for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
