Summary
You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (ENTARCH/SYSANALYSIS) in the READINESS REPORTING BRANCH of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Duties
- You will serve as the Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) Cloud Engineer and Project Officer for one or more NRRE software applications, the civilian manager responsible for the analysis, planning, and design.
- You will serve as the civilian manager responsible for implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of readiness reporting data and its related infrastructure.
- You will manage teams of contractors and serve as a technical authority, directing the implementation of cross-functional Agile solutions.
- You will perform comprehensive program management responsibilities related to the execution of the NRRE Operations and Sustainment contract, overseeing all software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
- You will perform comprehensive program management responsibilities that include the adoption of modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration/continuous (CI/CD) deployment pipelines.
- You will develop long-range strategies to address evolving requirements by monitoring existing plans/processes and developing mechanisms.
- You will implement future program capabilities ensuring the integration of all applicable systems, policies, procedures, databases, software and hosting environments (e.g.
- Microsoft Azure Government Cloud).
- You will provide expert technical advice to Navy in the identification, isolation and resolution of critical problems associated with reporting and collecting readiness data.
