Duties

  • This position is located in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO), Office of Security Services (OSS), and reports to the Director of Security Services.
  • The incumbent serves as the agency's senior technical authority for both the Insider Threat Program and the Operations Security (OPSEC) Program, exercising independent judgment in the development, implementation, and oversight of enterprise-wide security programs that protect EXIM's personnel, information, and national security equities.
  • The incumbent provides expert guidance to senior leadership and serves as the primary point of contact for interagency coordination on insider threat and OPSEC matters include, but are not limited to: Leads and manages the agency-wide Insider Threat Program and ensures compliance with national insider threat policies and standards.
  • Develops and implements agency-wide insider threat policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
  • Conducts inquiries/investigations regarding compromise of classified information systems and coordinates with security, legal, and counterintelligence officials.
  • Maintains effective interagency relationships with law enforcement, intelligence community, and federal security organizations.
  • Exercises full supervisory authority over subordinate security personnel, including performance management and employee accountability.
  • Develops executive-level correspondence and briefings regarding insider threat trends, risks, and mitigation recommendations.
  • Manages special projects and coordinates security incident response activities involving multiple organizational stakeholders.
