- In this Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) role, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security individuals involved in carrying out a wide variety of mission support, workforce management, staffing and position management, administrative research, logistics, and other program planning activities related to the missions and functions of the agency.
- Typical duties and responsibilities include: Conducting records management for various activities, performing audits, and extracting reports.
- Preparing briefings and reports for management to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommending future operational needs.
- Developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives for program implementation, and developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of current and proposed processes.
- Coordinating inter-related issues involving personnel management and administrative circumstances and/or situations.
- Formulating, presenting, monitoring, advising, and reporting on the division and sector's workforce management programs, planning, and performance planning operations.
