Duties

  • Plan weekly and monthly schedules and sequence of operations for subordinate workers, equipment, facilities and materials.
  • Analyze work plans developed by subordinates and subordinate supervisors and monitors the status of their work.
  • Investigate work related problems to identify causes and implements corrective action(s).
  • Maintain balanced workloads by shifting assignments, workers, and other resources under their control to achieve the most effective and economical work operations.
  • Develop performance standards, counsel's employees on performance and makes formal and informal performance appraisals.
  • Counsel employees on problems and adjusts informal complaints.
