Duties
- You will review and interpret applicable environmental regulations, recommending solutions and taking required actions to ensure compliance.
- You will stay up to date on current, new, and proposed environmental regulations.
- You will advise management, supervisors, staff, and operating officials on matters concerning environmental compliance and pollution prevention programs.
- You will identify environmental abatement projects needed to comply with laws, acts, and programs.
- You will determine the resourcing requirements necessary to accomplish program goals.
- You will draft written plans and schedules and set milestones for accomplishing program goals.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on an equivalent combination of education and experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. degree, if related or A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
