Summary

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (COMMAND AND STAFF PROGRAM) of NAS KEY WEST.

Duties

  • You will ensure all personnel who handle classified information or are assigned sensitive duties are appropriately cleared.
  • You will control and maintain appropriate access to databases (e.b. Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castle, Gatekeeper, Case Adjudication Tracking System (CATS)) for individual security program management.
  • You will use access control systems to manage classification of materials.
  • You will decide the security clearance level necessary for access to sensitive information, resources, material, or work sites.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: FOR GS-11 Have successfully completed a Ph. D. or equivalent doctoral degree, OR Have completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph. D. or equivalent degree, OR Have completed an LL.M degree that is related to the position being filled.
